Guerdy Abraira

TV Personality Entrepreneur & Cancer Survivor

Guerdy Abraira was born in Haiti and at the tender age of one, her family moved to Paris. At nine years old, her parents then decided that the United States would be the best fit for their family and, thus, they moved to Miami, Florida where Guerdy went to secondary school and college.

She quickly fell in love with the art of hosting and event planning became her career. Living and traveling throughout the world as she grew up, expanded her palette of various global cultures. In addition, her catering career on Fisher Island added extensive knowledge in food and beverage as well as helped her gain a loyal and diverse client base.

Living and traveling around the world expanded Guerdy’s palette of many global cultures. Outspoken and energetic, her Haitian heritage and Parisian hometown flare is the basis for her unique aesthetic and work ethic. Guerdy’s hard work has proven to pay off through her many accolades, including being named one of Harper’s Bazaar’s Top Planners in the World and making the coveted list of Vogue’s Best Wedding Planners in the U.S., Canada and overseas.

Guerdy was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2023. She’s passionate about advocating for those with breast cancer and encouraging early screenings. Guerdy resides in Florida with her two sons and longtime husband of 20 years, Russell, who was her high school sweetheart.
